Parish Feast Day Celebration - 2012

On Sunday, June 24, our parish will celebrate our feast day on Saturday with Great Vespers with Litya at 4PM and on Sunday with Divine Liturgy at 9AM. Then continuing on Sunday with a concert by the Wyoming Valley Orthodox Choir and a folk dance by the Kaska Ukrainian Dance Group at Columbia Firehouse and Hose Company located on 149 Jackson St, Edwardsville, PA 18704.

Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos to visit St. Tikhon's Monastery during Memorial Day Pilgrimage

On Friday, May 25-Monday, May 28, The Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos will visit St. Tikhon's Monastery in South Canaan for their Memorial Day Pilgrimage. They had the icon in 2010. This is a second year for the icon visit again during this event.

On Thursday, April 26, Helen Deletconich fell asleep in the Lord at the age of 93 at her home.

Funeral Arrangements:

Sunday, April 29:

5:30pm: Paratas at Yeosock Funeral Home in Plains Township.

Monday, April 30:

10:00am: Funeral at St. John the Baptist Church, Edwardsville.

Burial at Fern Knoll Burial Park in Dallas.
